Dunedin Airport supports 'Shave for a Cure' May 6 2010

One of the flydunedin.com team 'shaved for a cure' yesterday afternoon at Outram School.  Anne Tipa took up the challenge and shaved her hair off in support of the Leukaemia and Blood Foundation along with a number of men and children; and two other brave women.

A number of schools and universities are championing the event around the country.

"Shave for a Cure is the Leukaemia & Blood Foundation’s (LBF’s) signature fundraising event. Shave10 is a fun and easy way to raise money, while showing empathy and solidarity for leukaemia patients, many of whom suffer hair loss as a result of life-saving treatments such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy." www.leukaemia.org.nz
