Pacific Blue To Have Flights From Dunedin To Brisbane June 10 2009
Pacific Blue has announced it will introduce direct international services from Dunedin to Brisbane, three times a week from September.
Tourism Dunedin Chief Executive Officer, Hamish Saxton, is currently in Auckland negotiating with several agencies that see great potential in the airline's new routes.
Saxton says Dunedin is a particularly attractive destination for tourists from Queensland, due to its different climatic conditions, and says the new flights are good news for the city's tourism industry.
Pacific Blue will also replace its Dunedin-Christchurch-Auckland flight with a direct daily service to Auckland.
